It has come time to slow down. Laurie and Paula, after 30+ years of breeding quality queens, have decided to sell their commercial queen breeding business.

Laurie would like to spend more time devoted to the National Queen Bee Improvement Program, hopefully developing a strain of varroa resistance queen bees. Paula will still keep her hand in with inseminating queen bees for the program and together supply Instrumental Inseminated Breeding Queens for the industry.

We are prepared to impart 30+ years of experience– point out the pitfalls, explain the various methods of queen rearing and explain our methods and why they work for us. We are prepared to train the purchaser if required. You will learn the art of queen production and the how’s and where’s to source the necessary information on exporting plus the requirements for the domestic market; Where to source the every day to day items– cork, queen candy, cages, Australia Post, sugar, vitamins, protein powder, administration.
